Dan Hauer heats the new backhead as John Niemann starts beating down the flange.

Backhead Doorway Flanged

We have started to form the new manhole doorway in the new backhead. The female die was bolted to the bottom of the new backhead plate. The die was then clamped to a platen. It was then started down by heating and beating down with wood faced mallets.
