New steam tubes are placed on the floor of the fuel tank.

Steam Tubes in the Fuel Tank

One of the last tasks in the preparation of the fuel tank is the placement of new steam tubes on the floor. These tubes heat the fuel to ensure proper flow of the fuel to the locomotive.
