Painting the Downpipes

Wednesday, August 21, 2024

The fabrication of the downpipes has finally been completed.
After we built the flanges, Stu cut and fit the individual pipe pieces. He tacked them together in place and then the final welds were completed in the shop on pipe stands. After several delays in the welding process they are finally ready to install and they got a fresh coat of "barbecue black" paint.
