Building Brake Beams
Wednesday, December 13, 2023 by mcTwo of the existing brake beams were stolen from the shop site and so we had to make new ones. We had the center sections forged, and then welded 4-inch rod to each end, before turning those ends to size for the hangers and brake shoe brackets.
